Huling and Elizabeth Huling (his wife) convey to Sophia Walker Ralph all their right, title, and interest in a league and labor (2,302.5 acres) patented 15 Dec 1845 (No. 12, Vol. 5) in the name of Thomas B. Huling as assignee of John Dickerson, situated in Liberty (now Polk) County, Texas; metes and bounds reference Dunkin’s Ferry on the Trinity River and Dickerson’s Creek. Deed signed 24 Aug 1847; witnesses Josiah Bradshaw and F. Prather; acknowledged 27 Aug 1847 before John Hamilton, Notary Public (Jasper County, Texas); filed 11 Oct 1848; recorded 20 Oct 1848 (Polk County).
