Promissory note dated 4 Mar 1809 at 'Oakmugee' (as written), Randolph County, Georgia: John Powell and Edmond Deens promise to pay the administrators of the estate of Isaac Phillips, deceased, $42.87 1/2, payable twelve months from date. User notes Edmond Deens’ handwriting appears on the note. Subsequent court filings in 1811–1812 assert non-payment.
